Hello, I'm Rolando Scott
A Drupal Enthusiast
I'm currently the Director of Drupal Development at Taoti Creative.
I'm also available for additional contract work as a Full Stack Developer or Tech Lead.
I put out fires... No, really...
I literally & figuratively put out fires
When not fighting real fires as a
volunteer firefighter, I'm fighting Drupal fires and helping my team
make awesome sites and apps for our clients.
I've worn many hats throughout my career, and have over 14 years of experience in the industry, primarily working remotely for companies, clients & agencies in the US.
Every now and then I get to do more challenging things like creating awesome web apps that help businesses grow and transcend, or integrating services from one company to another.
I've had the good fortune of working with big name companies like Yahoo! and IBM, and also with hundreds of startups.
Here's how I can help...
Either solo or added to a team
Full Stack Drupal Developer
With plenty of Drupal 7, 8 & 9 experience, I can confidently tackle mostly any project. I can work on the backend, the frontend or both. I can be client facing and work directly with them to make sure the project is a success.
Need someone to guide your team? As a Tech Lead, I can help with the client's discovery, IA, design & wireframes reviews. Once the project is under way, I can coordinate a team of developers, approving PRs and coordinating agile sprints.
Although I Drupal, I also enjoy coding in other technologies and Content management systems. PHP/Wordpress, Vue.js and other languages. Let's talk and see if we're a good fit.
I've been busy..

We revamped and relaunched DC Lottery's massive website, with tons of new features and functionality. The incredible effort was done with a very short timeline and required a lot of coordination and work to get the more than 3 million records of drawings up on the site between other things.
I had the chance to be one of the speakers at BADCAMP and give a live session on Configuration Management in Drupal 8.
We helped the National Endowment for the Arts publish an amazing site that helps veterans with PTSD and other illnesses, receive treatment via art therapy.
